The Community

Our Business and Community Growth team works with a range of partners including local community groups, schools, nurseries, GPs, housing associations and businesses to support our vibrant and flourishing communities. Projects range from early years activity with pre – 5 children and their families, through to intergenerational work via the medium of arts and culture, bringing together older residents with young people.

Everything we do is influenced by our local communities: be that toddlers, school leavers, care home residents or business owners and through the hard work of our communities, supported by Clyde Gateway and partners, others are seeing what a great place this is to live and work.

Our interventions to increase skills and employment are helping link local people to jobs; our efforts to reduce health inequality are supporting healthy, happy residents and our contributions to a wide range of community centres, development trusts and education establishments help build capacity and lifelong learning, all of which are fundamental to achieving place based inclusive growth and are central approaches to community wealth building.
