Clyde Gateway hosted its first Transition to Net Zero themed networking event for local businesses on Wednesday 31st January at Topgolf, Glasgow.
David Equi of Equi’s Ice Cream and Scot Erwin of Greencity Wholefoods opened the event by sharing their own experiences of reducing carbon emissions in their businesses.
Representatives from a range of national and local support organisations were on hand at the event to help over twenty local businesses learn more about the opportunities embarking on the net zero journey may hold and how implementing sustainability measures can result in business savings.
Fiona McLean, Project Manager – Business and Community Growth at Clyde Gateway said “Clyde Gateway are committed to supporting local businesses with their transition to net zero and it was fantastic to see businesses at various stages of their journey come together in one place to share best practice and receive valuable advice and guidance from our partner organisations. The event was a great success, and we are already looking forward to the next one.”
